Job summary

REAL Technical Solutions Limited seeks a Senior Cost Controller to oversee cost control and forecasting for key infrastructure projects. Based in Brighton with a hybrid work pattern, you will manage budgets, accruals, forecasts and EAC/ETC to support delivery.

You will collaborate with external partners, lead change management, and provide accurate cost reporting, ensuring robust cost performance and Value of Work Done across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost management on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project budgets, commitments, actual costs and forecasts aligned to CBS.
• Ensure high forecasting accuracy for month, year and EAC.
• Prepare and manage accruals reflecting VOWD/ACWP with schedule alignment.
• Update forecasts to maintain ETC and accurate ETC.
• Produce monthly cost reports with variances, trends and contingency drawdown.
• Report on cost performance via EVM and CPI.
