Job summary

Core Talent partners with a leading global consultancy delivering high-value data centre developments. The Senior Cost Manager role offers real responsibility, with opportunities to own cost management across pre- and post-contract work on DC projects.

You will join experienced, diverse teams, supporting settlements, cost reporting, bids, and final accounts while travelling to sites as required. Hybrid & flexible working is available alongside sponsorship for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on complex infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement of construction disputes, loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial issues, change orders, and contract matters efficiently and fairly.
• Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts, ensuring best value for clients.
• Develop cost plans and estimates for key client developments, particularly within data centre projects.
• Drive clear project outcomes through accurate cost reporting and timely communication.
• Actively participate in the tender and bid process, from documentation through to analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project expenditure through valuations and cost reporting, communicating variations clearly.
• Contribute to nimble project delivery and informed decision-making.
