Job summary

Ogilvy PR in Sydney seeks a Client Partner / Account Director on a 12-month contract to lead senior client relationships and shape strategic direction for major corporate communications projects. You’ll work across the Ogilvy PR Corporate team in Sydney and The Brand Agency in Perth to deliver integrated campaigns and high-impact storytelling.

Qualifications

• PR and communications experience at Account Director level.
• Strong experience leading corporate communications accounts and senior client relationships.
• Experience working across business, technology, or other complex corporate environments.
• Excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape and strong senior media relationships.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to provide confident, practical counsel to clients.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong campaign leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bring together multiple teams and disciplines to deliver integrated work.
• A calm, proactive, and collaborative approach, with the ability to navigate complex or fast-moving issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day senior client relationship and act as a trusted communications adviser.
• Set the strategic direction for communications activity and translate client objectives into clear campaigns and plans.
• Oversee delivery of corporate communications, media relations, and integrated campaigns.
• Coordinate activity with Sydney Ogilvy PR team and Perth Brand Agency team to ensure seamless delivery.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions.
• Identify proactive opportunities to build reputation, influence, and engagement.
• Provide senior counsel across media, issues and corporate communications.
• Oversee the development of high-quality communications materials and outputs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior media and key stakeholders.
• Stay connected to the client’s business, industry, and broader landscape; ensure timely delivery.
