Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering design teams and delivering quality outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and RPEQ eligibility or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers and drafters.
• Oversee civil design services across Council's capital works program.
• Provide governance and oversight of engineering design deliverables.
• Coordinate resources, workloads and priorities to meet project needs.
• Oversee design reviews, QA processes and engineering compliance.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering solutions are safe, sustainable, practical and fit for purpose.
