Job summary

Empire Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer for a senior in-house role to manage residential property transactions from contract through settlement. You will coordinate settlements, liaise with purchasers and solicitors, and mentor junior team members within a high-performing team.

The role requires 3–4 years’ independent conveyancing experience, PEXA proficiency, and strong technical skills across CTS and Salesforce platforms.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Conveyancer qualifications.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience managing conveyancing matters independently end to end.
• Strong experience running residential property transactions from start to finish.
• Previous private practice experience, with in house experience highly regarded.
• Proficiency with PEXA and strong technical skills across conveyancing systems.
• Experience using Salesforce, CTS or similar platforms.
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• A calm, organised and solutions focused approach in a fast paced environment.
• A willingness to support and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Managing end to end conveyancing matters across a high volume residential portfolio.
• Preparing, reviewing and issuing contracts, disclosures, variations and settlement documentation.
• Coordinating settlements through PEXA and managing critical dates and conditions.
• Liaising with purchasers, solicitors and financiers to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Utilising systems such as CTS, Salesforce and other conveyancing platforms to manage matters efficiently.
• Monitoring settlement deadlines and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members while contributing to a collaborative culture.
• Managing competing priorities and maintaining exceptional accuracy during peak settlement periods.
