Job summary
ManpowerGroup's client in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to design, program, implement and commission control systems across industrial sectors, providing technical support to internal teams and clients. You will work on PLC/SCADA projects using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms, undertake onsite commissioning and contribute to documentation and methodologies.
Hybrid work is available with interstate travel for project delivery.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in control systems engineering in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).
- Experience with onsite commissioning and instrumentation is valued.
- Exposure to Honeywell DCS is desirable.
- Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics or related field is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Deliver control systems and automation projects across industries.
- Program, troubleshoot and fault-find PLC/SCADA systems.
- Undertake onsite commissioning of control systems and instrumentation.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams and clients.
- Prepare engineering documentation and methodologies.
- Develop high‑quality engineering designs tailored to client needs.
