Job summary
Integrated Talent is seeking a Brisbane-based Controls Engineer to own client industrial control systems from design through handover. You will work across Schneider, Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms, developing control narratives, PLC logic, and SCADA interfaces for manufacturing, water, and energy sectors.
You will design controls, implement PLC programs, build HMIs, and support FAT/SAT, with travel to regional sites as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 4–7 years in industrial automation or manufacturing controls.
- Proficient PLC programming on Schneider, Siemens or Allen-Bradley.
- Experience with SCADA: Citect, WinCC, FactoryTalk or equivalent.
- HMI development and commissioning capability.
- Field fault finding and site support experience.
- Willingness to travel to regional sites.
Responsibilities
- Design control systems and develop PLC programs for automation projects.
- Create control narratives and implement logic across multiple PLC platforms.
- Develop HMIs and support FAT/SAT activities.
- Engage directly with clients to deliver practical control solutions.
- Support commissioning and handover of systems to live operation.
