Job summary

Alliance Automation in Australia is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing team. You will design, implement, and test control system solutions across DCS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networks, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group.

This role emphasizes engineering fundamentals, documentation, client support, and adherence to HSEQ. A tertiary degree in engineering or related field, and experience with .NET VB.NET Visual Studio, are

Qualifications

Solid understanding of engineering principles and control system fundamentals.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in hardware and software development for industrial applications.
Familiarity with development environments such as .NET Framework, VB.NET, and Visual Studio.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and testing of high-quality control system solutions across technologies such as DCS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networks
Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications, drawings, and test procedures
Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in alignment with project schedules
Provide ongoing technical support to clients, contributing to long-term system reliability
Actively promote and support a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)
