Embedded Expertise seeks an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support critical automation in a major mining operation in South Australia. The role blends project delivery, commissioning and ongoing system optimisation with site presence on a 7/7 shift.

You will design and implement PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions using Rockwell PlantPAx, Allen-Bradley and Studio 5000, delivering reliable control across a complex processing environment. Prior mining industry experience is highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• Must have tertiary qualification in a related engineering field.
• Hands-on experience with PlantPAx is mandatory.
• Experience configuring, modifying or commissioning PlantPAx environments.
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell automation platforms (PLC/SCADA/HMI).
• Ability to work autonomously and lead complex automation projects.
• Experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial settings.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and modify industrial control systems.
• Deliver PLC, SCADA and HMI programming, configuration and testing.
• Support plant commissioning, start-up and operational readiness.
• Investigate and resolve production-critical control system issues.
• Execute system upgrades, migrations and brownfield work.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and project teams.
• Provide technical input across the project lifecycle from design to support.
