Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a Perth-based engineering consultancy delivering mining automation projects across WA. This hands-on role focuses on technical execution rather than people management, offering the chance to lead control system design and commissioning.

You'll work with Rockwell PLC platforms, Citect SCADA and Ignition, contribute to FAT/SAT activities, and support delivery from design through handover on major mining and resources projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience delivering control systems in mining.
• Strong experience with Rockwell PLC platforms and SCADA.
• Experience with commissioning, FAT/SAT and site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement control system solutions for mining.
• Configure and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Develop and maintain Citect SCADA and Ignition projects.
• Lead plant upgrades, brownfield improvements and handover activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients on delivery.
