Job summary

Embedded Expertise in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Control Systems Project Manager to lead PLC and SCADA upgrade projects within a live mining environment. You will drive end-to-end delivery from design through commissioning, coordinating engineering teams, contractors and vendors.

The role requires 10+ years in industrial control systems and 5+ years in project delivery, with experience on projects valued at $2M–$5M and a strong OT/PLC/SCADA background. Hybrid working arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

10+ years in industrial control systems environments
5+ years in project management or delivery roles
Experience delivering projects valued between $2M and $5M
Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA and OT environments
Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
Engineering/automation qualification (degree or diploma)
Stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of PLC and SCADA upgrade and replacement projects
Manage project scope, cost, schedule, resources, risks and communications
Coordinate engineering teams, contractors, vendors and site stakeholders
Oversee project activities through design, implementation, testing, commissioning and handover
Facilitate risk management activities and support project governance requirements
Plan and coordinate work within shutdown and operational constraints
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and change management processes
Maintain effective engagement with operational, technical and project stakeholders
