Aggreko is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join the Engineering team for a major hybrid power generation project combining renewable generation, battery energy storage and thermal generation. The role covers detailed control system design, assurance, integration, testing and commissioning across PLC, SCADA, and industrial networks.

You will work with engineering consultants and vendors across offices, vendor facilities and remote project sites, delivering hands-on troubleshooting

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation.
• Significant experience in control systems engineering within power generation or major industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of PLC architectures, remote I/O and industrial protocols.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Schneider and Codesys.
• Experience with PlantSCADA systems and industrial Ethernet networks.
• Experience leading or supervising engineering consultants and system integrators.

Mansioni

• Design, review and implement detailed control systems (PLC, SCADA, network).
• Develop and maintain control philosophies, descriptions, and system architecture.
• Support PLC programming and software development.
• Review FAT/SAT activities and supervise vendors and consultants.
• Coordinate interfaces between control systems and electrical, mechanical, BESS, solar and thermal generation.
• Ensure proper documentation, backups, and handover to Operations.
