Unknown Company, based in Brisbane, is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end automation on major mining projects. You will design, program and validate PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions across Rockwell, Schneider and Ignition platforms, delivering from concept to onsite handover.

The role requires 7+ years in control systems engineering within mining or heavy industry, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Control Systems Engineering, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong PLC, SCADA and HMI design, development and programming skills.
• Experience delivering projects from FDS through FAT, SAT and commissioning.
• Experience with Rockwell, Schneider and/or Ignition technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and independent-working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems design from concept through FAT, SAT and commissioning.
• Program, test and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions on mining projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex automation systems.
