Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a senior commercial support professional to provide on‑site contract administration for a major North Queensland renewable energy development. The role is open to Townsville-region applicants and FIFO from Brisbane on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster.

You will support the Commercial and Contracts Managers and mentor other contracts administrators, guiding project delivery and risk management across civil and infrastructure works.

Qualifications

• Senior contracts administration experience on substantial civil, infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of Australian construction contracts and risk.
• Experience mentoring junior commercial staff.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach contracts administrators and help resolve complex commercial issues.
• Review subcontractor performance, notices, variations and claims.
• Maintain governance, reporting and cost controls; identify risks early.
• Lead contract administration activities and advise project colleagues.
• Build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
