Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support a major solar project in Central Queensland. The role is site-based with potential 14/7 roster from Brisbane, focusing on subcontract administration and commercial control.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in a related field and have five+ years of experience managing contracts on civil, mining, energy or renewable projects, with strong communication and site teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• At least five years administering contracts on major civil, construction, mining, energy or renewable projects.
• Practical experience administering subcontract packages during construction.
• Strong understanding of progress payments, variations and subcontract commercial controls.
• Clear communication and effective site-team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract packages from award to final account.
• Assess progress claims and variations and prepare payment recommendations.
• Control contractual correspondence and package compliance.
• Support cost forecasting and commercial performance reports.
• Resolve commercial interfaces with subcontractors and construction teams.
