Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major infrastructure and renewables projects in North Queensland. The role is site-based in Townsville with FIFO options from Brisbane on a 14-days-on, seven-days-off roster.

You will work with the Commercial and Contracts Managers from award through completion, administering variations, progress claims and subcontract documentation while maintaining accurate records and cost

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or related discipline.
• Experience in contract administration, quantity surveying or commercial work in civil construction, infrastructure or renewables.
• Strong understanding of procurement, subcontract administration and contract management.
• Accurate record keeping and ability to manage competing commercial priorities.
• Clear communication and effective working relationships across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contractual records.
• Support procurement, tender assessments and subcontract documentation.
• Maintain commercial registers, cost controls and accurate project records.
• Prepare notices, contractual correspondence and commercial reports.
• Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and the delivery team to resolve commercial matters.
• Opportunities to develop across transport, defence and renewable energy projects.
