Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support commercial management of project delivery in Australia. You will administer contracts across the lifecycle, prepare and review notices, claims and variations, and provide commercial support to project managers and procurement teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in contract administration within engineering, mining or related sectors, with strong attention to detail and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in contract administration within engineering, construction, mining or project delivery.
• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law, construction management, project management or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring obligations, milestones and timeframes are understood and managed.
• Prepare, review and manage contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations, extensions of time and supporting documentation.
• Support the assessment, negotiation and administration of contract variations, progress claims, payment certifications and close-out activities.
• Provide contractual and commercial support to project managers, procurement teams, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve issues and support project outcomes.
• Monitor contract performance, compliance requirements, commercial risks and emerging issues, escalating matters where required.
• Maintain accurate contract records, registers and documentation in line with governance, audit and project requirements.
• Support procurement and package management activities, including tender evaluations, recommendations, contract awards and supplier/subcontractor administration.
• Assist with the preparation of commercial reports, cost forecasts, contract status updates and project reporting.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and contribute to mitigation strategies and practical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of contract administration processes, templates, reporting practices and governance standards.
