Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading cost consultancy on a $1bn+ infrastructure project in Cooma, NSW. The role focuses on forecasting, rate analysis, cost breakdowns and scope definition across major civil packages.

You will work with project leadership to analyse drawings, refine project scope, and manage variations, progress claims and contract documentation. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering.
• Experience in consultancy or cost management on large civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Experience with forensic cost analysis, contract administration and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and in a small, collaborative team.
• Flexible, proactive attitude and strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost forecasting, budgeting and rate analysis.
• Review and interpret drawings, forecasts and project documentation.
• Define, refine and validate project scope.
• Prepare and manage variations, progress claims and contract documentation.
• Provide financial and contractual advice to project stakeholders.
• Participate in forensic cost reviews and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with project engineers, planners and commercial managers.
• Analyse drawings and scope to deliver accurate forecasts.
