Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator for our established QLD construction client in Brisbane. You will own the commercial and contractual aspects from procurement through to final accounts, working closely with Senior Leadership and site teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare or high-rise residential projects.
• Comfort with variations, claims, cost reporting and negotiations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with site and project teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive and autonomous.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full commercial and contractual administration from procurement to completion.
• Prepare, review and negotiate head contracts, subcontract agreements and scopes of work.
• Manage variations, progress claims, extensions of time and subcontractor payments.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and overall commercial performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
• Work with Project Managers and site teams to identify and manage commercial risks.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Manage final accounts and project close-out documentation.
