CPB Contractors, delivering a major data centre project in Melbourne, seeks a Senior Contracts Administrator to lead subcontractor and supplier contract administration across the project lifecycle. You will manage variations, progress claims and contract correspondence while supporting procurement and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Contracts Administrator on major construction, infrastructure or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement, variations and subcontract management.
• Sound commercial acumen across budgeting, cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience identifying and managing contractual risk and commercial outcomes.
• Exposure to Tier 1 or other large-scale complex projects will be highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
• The ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.

CPB Contractors, together with fellow CIMIC Group companies, UGL and EIC, is proudtobe drivingthe ground-up development of a multi-megawatt data centre inTruganina inthe western suburbs of Melbourne. Ourexpertisewillseamlessly integrate complex systems across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire, power and telecommunications among much more.

The80 MWdatacentrewillconsist of two adjoining 40MWdatacentresfeaturingcomplexinternallyintegrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fireprotection,ICTand securitysystems.Construction will also involve extensive externalinground servicesworks,modular electrical equipment including HV / Fire protection facilities construction and civil finishing works.

Your opportunity

This is a complex, large-scale build where strong commercial discipline, attention to detail and the ability to build relationships will be critical to success. You'll be joining an experienced project team and taking ownership of the contract administration function from procurement through to final account.

You’ll play a key role in the commercial performance of the project. From subcontract procurement and contract management to variations, forecasting and risk, you'll work closely with project leaders and subcontractors to help keep the project on track.
