Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator for a landmark healthcare project in Queensland. You will own key commercial and contractual deliverables, manage major subcontractor packages, and work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client.

You must have a strong background delivering large-scale construction projects, with experience in healthcare, infrastructure or similar complex environments, and be proficient in CHEOPS, ProcurePro,

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join a highly regarded Tier 1 construction business on a landmark $800M healthcare project.

This is a major project environment suited to a capable and proven performer who has a strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects and is comfortable managing complex commercial and contractual requirements.

You will be working as part of a high-performing project team, you will take ownership of key commercial and contractual responsibilities across the project, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client.

The Role

• Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
• Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontract agreements
• Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and contractual correspondence
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Managing commercial risks and resolving contractual issues
• Working closely with the project team to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved
• Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders

Senior Contracts Administrator

About You

• Experience working on large-scale projects valued at $80M+
• A strong background within commercial, healthcare, infrastructure or similarly complex construction environments
• Proven experience independently managing significant subcontract packages
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to operate effectively in a large project team
• A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Experience with CHEOPS, ProcurePro, Payapps or Aconex would be highly advantageous
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
