Job summary

Ashtead Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join our commercial team, with responsibility for high-value contracts and strategic initiatives. The role is based at our Kintore and Turriff offices, with travel between both locations required.

You will negotiate and draft complex agreements, advise on risk and governance, and support tendering and project delivery. This is a senior, international commercial role in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Senior Contract Specialist or similar role.
• Proven success negotiating complex contracts with strong commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of commercial, legal, and contractual principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience operating in international commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of complex commercial agreements.
• Advise senior stakeholders on contractual risk, governance, and commercial strategy.
• Manage customer and supplier contracts, including Framework Agreements and Master Service Agreements.
• Support business development, tendering, project delivery, and operational teams.
• Drive best practice in contract management and commercial governance.
• Contribute to dispute avoidance, claims management, and commercial performance improvement initiatives.
