Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to lead commercial administration on a large-scale commercial fit-out project in Sydney. The role is contract-based with an ASAP start and requires hands-on procurement and subcontractor management within a fast-paced project team.

You will support the estimating and procurement processes, review quotes, and identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining strong commercial controls across the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on large commercial fit-out projects.
• Strong subcontractor procurement and comparison experience.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Experience with FF&E / furniture procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete subcontractor comparisons and assist with procurement recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate furniture procurement.
• Assist estimating team with scoping and tender requirements.
• Identify and coordinate VE options and price VE opportunities.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Maintain strong commercial and contractual administration across the project.

Contract Role | ASAP Start | Large-Scale Commercial Fit Out Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator – Commercial Fit Out to join a large commercial fit-out project on a contract basis, with an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident CA who is comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment and can hit the ground running across procurement, subcontractor management, estimating support and commercial administration.

The Role

Working closely with the project and estimating teams, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and commercial management of a major commercial fit-out project.

The client is specifically looking for an experienced CA who can:

• Complete subcontractor comparisons and assist with procurement recommendations
• Manage and coordinate furniture procurement
• Assist the estimating team with scoping and tender requirements
• Identify and coordinate Value Engineering (VE) options
• Obtain and coordinate pricing for VE opportunities
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Assist with commercial negotiations and procurement
• Maintain strong commercial and contractual administration across the project
• Work closely with project managers, estimators, subcontractors and suppliers to keep procurement and commercial activities moving

About You

You will be an experienced Contract Administrator / Senior Contract Administrator with a strong background in commercial construction and fit-out projects.

Ideally, You Will Have

• Proven experience working on large commercial fit-out projects
• Strong subcontractor procurement and comparison experience
• A solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Experience with FF&E / furniture procurement would be highly regarded
• The ability to support estimating, scope works and assess pricing
• Experience identifying and pricing VE opportunities
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• A hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running
