Job summary

Icon Group is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator for a major residential project in Sydney’s Inner City suburbs. You will own the commercial function, working with a Contracts Manager and Project Manager to deliver value, mitigate risk and ensure project success.

You will bring proven Tier 1/2 contract administration experience on large-scale builds, with strong commercial acumen and keen stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environment.
• Experience on large-scale projects, ideally upwards of $90m.
• Residential experience on apartments, build-to-rent or social housing is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor packages and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial function on a large residential project.
• Work closely with Contracts Manager and Project Manager to drive commercial performance.
• Manage subcontractor packages, budgets and change control processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial issues promptly.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to support decision making.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team on a large-scale residential project based in Sydney’s Inner City suburbs.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the commercial function on a significant project, working closely alongside an experienced Contracts Manager and Project Manager.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is commercially strong, confident working within a project team and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.

Ideally, You Will Bring

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environment
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally upwards of $90m
• Residential experience, particularly apartments, build-to-rent or social housing, will be highly regarded
• Strong commercial acumen and a sound understanding of construction contracts
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor packages and competing priorities
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
