Job summary

Icon Group’s Sydney project team is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to own the commercial function on a large residential project in inner-city Sydney. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Project Manager to drive cost control, contract compliance and strong stakeholder management.

You will bring extensive contract administration experience in Tier 1/2 construction, with residential project exposure and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator in Tier 1/2 construction
• Experience on large-scale projects (preferably >$90m)
• Residential project experience (apartments, build-to-rent, social housing)
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of contracts
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor packages and competing priorities
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, organized and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial function on a large residential project in Sydney
• Collaborate closely with Contracts Manager and Project Manager
• Lead management of subcontractor packages and commercial interfaces
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control and contract compliance
• Support bid/procurement activities and value engineering where appropriate
