Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Associate, Content Producer in Melbourne to support end-to-end development and production of assessment content. You will coordinate SMEs, manage workflows, and ensure materials meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and proactive risk management while embracing AI and new tools to improve efficiency and scalability. Fixed-term 12 months in Melbourne, reporting to Jen Slaughter.

Qualifications

• Experience in editorial oversight and content development workflows.
• Ability to coordinate SMEs and internal/external resources.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Train SMEs for item writing and review.
• Provide feedback to SMEs to ensure high quality content outcomes.
• Develop support materials and distribute to item writers and reviewers; perform quality control before publication.
• Adhere to deadlines and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare for content development meetings, create and publish exams, and report data related to team activities.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and keep projects on track.
• Support continuous improvement including AI and emerging tools to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Content Development Manager
• Adapt to new tools and methodologies in AI-driven and traditional content development.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure content accuracy.
