Job summary

EHS Support is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join the Victoria Contaminated Sites team. The role involves providing technical oversight, strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges on multi-million-dollar projects.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related fields, 8+ years of consulting experience in contaminated land, groundwater, and remediation, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology.
8+ years’ consulting experience in contaminated land and groundwater and remediation projects.
Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations.
Knowledge of NEPM and health & safety best practice principles.

Responsibilities

Undertaking preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing PSI and DSI Assessment Reports, site management plans and remediation action plans.
Initiation, planning, leading and executing complex contaminated land/waste projects, including soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater and groundwater assessments.
Providing mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land and groundwater team.
Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems.
