Job summary

Ertech is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join our Resources team based at the Wangara office. You will oversee procurement across projects, collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers to identify requirements, assess suppliers, negotiate agreements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction procurement (5+ in a similar role), strong knowledge of ERP systems including COINS and Gatekeeper, and the ability to manage risks while

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in the construction industry, with 5+ years in a similar procurement role.
• Demonstrated procurement, purchasing and contract management experience in engineering or construction.
• Strong supplier/vendor management including contract development, negotiation and performance management.
• Ability to identify project risks and opportunities and deliver cost-saving outcomes.
• Knowledge of trade terms, contractual requirements and procurement processes, with ERP and vendor systems experience (COINS, Gatekeeper).
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail and MS Office skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be able to obtain National Police Clearance and have Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement across the Resources Division, aligning strategies, processes and schedules with project requirements and commercial objectives.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities: supplier engagement, RFQs, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award; ensure timely delivery of materials, plant, subcontractors and services.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance improvements, market engagement and risk management.
• Ensure procurement governance and compliance, adhering to Ertech's procedures and Code of Conduct.
