Job summary

Veolia Australia is seeking a seasoned construction project leader to drive the delivery of civil and structural projects across our industrial facilities. You will provide expert advisory on concept designs, tenders, pricing, and contractor engagement for Materials Recovery Facilities, FO GO facilities and energy-from-waste initiatives, ensuring cost-effective delivery and seamless handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil/structural construction projects.
• Experience in Australia.
• Driver's licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural construction expertise to the development and delivery of Veolia's projects.
• Assist in the development of early concept designs/proof of concepts for civil, site and industrial structures.
• Apply commercial and construction cost knowledge.
• Apply value engineering and design optimisation to civil, site works and building structures.
• Assist in the development of concept designs to provide to contractors for competitive pricing and tendering purposes.
• Utilise your commercial knowledge for cost estimates and testing contractor pricing.
