Veolia Australia is seeking a seasoned civil/structural engineer to lead the advisory and delivery of construction projects focused on industrial facilities and infrastructure. You will guide concept design, tenders, pricing, contractor engagement and handover to operations, ensuring cost-effective outcomes and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in civil/structural construction.
• Demonstrated track record managing civil/structural projects.
• Driver's licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural construction expertise to the development and delivery of Veolia's projects.
• Assist in the development of early concept designs/proof of concepts for civil, site and industrial structures.
• Apply commercial and construction cost knowledge.
• Apply value engineering and design optimisation to civil, site works and building structures.
• Assist in the development of concept designs to provide to contractors for competitive pricing and tendering purposes.
• Utilise your commercial knowledge for cost estimates and testing contractor pricing.
