Job summary

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking a senior construction project expert to deliver industrial building and infrastructure projects, with a focus on MRF, FOGO, and Energy from Waste facilities. You will advise managers and project teams through concept development, tenders, delivery and hand-over to operations.

You will support early concept designs, pricing, and contractor engagement to ensure cost-effective delivery across multiple projects, including interstate work.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering or similar.
• Ten years' experience, with extensive experience in Australia.
• Proven track record in industrial building, structural and civil tenders.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural construction expertise for Veolia projects.
• Assist in concept designs and proofs of concepts for civil/site/industrial structures.
• Apply commercial and construction cost knowledge to projects.
• Use value engineering and design optimisation for civil/site/building works.
• Develop concept designs for contractors for competitive pricing and tendering.
• Utilise cost estimates and test contractor pricing.
