Lead Group Consultancy in Sydney CBD seeks an experienced Construction Lawyer to join as Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner. You will advise developers, contractors and other participants on complex construction and infrastructure matters with autonomy.

The role offers direct access to senior practitioners, a clear path to leadership and the opportunity to shape an established practice through strategic client relationships and high-quality matters.

Qualifications

• Strong Australian construction law experience.
• Experience at Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level.
• Expertise in front-end, back-end or mixed construction matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and advisory skills.
• Confident managing complex matters and client relationships independently.
• Strong commercial awareness and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Lawyer at Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level to join a well-established construction and infrastructure practice in Sydney CBD.

We are interested in speaking with lawyers specialising in front-end, back-end construction or a combination of both, who are seeking a platform to further develop their expertise, client relationships and career.

The Opportunity
Working alongside experienced construction practitioners, you will advise developers, contractors, consultants and other key industry participants on a broad range of complex construction and infrastructure matters.

Depending on your expertise, your work may include:

• Construction disputes, complex litigation and arbitration
• Security of Payment claims and adjudications
• Contractual disputes, delay and disruption claims
• Building defects and major project disputes
• Construction contracts, procurement and project documentation
• Risk allocation, contract negotiation and project advisory
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
• Major commercial developments and infrastructure projects

For senior lawyers and established Partners, there is genuine scope to contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the practice.

About You
