Job summary

Lead Group’s Sydney office seeks a Senior Associate - Partner level Construction Lawyer to join a specialist practice handling major projects, front-end contracting, advisory work and complex disputes. You will develop a broad construction practice with direct client exposure and clear progression, supported by senior specialists.

You’ll work across drafting contracts, major projects, procurement, claims, and disputes while advising developers and contractors.

The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a Senior Associate - Partner Level Construction Lawyer to join a highly regarded specialist construction practice in Sydney.

Rather than being limited to one narrow area, you will have the opportunity to develop a broad construction practice spanning major projects, front-end contracting, advisory work and complex disputes.

Depending on your experience, your matters may include:

• Drafting and negotiating construction and project contracts
• Major construction and infrastructure projects
• Procurement and project advisory
• Security of Payment claims and adjudications
• Variations, delay, defects and extension of time claims
• Complex construction and commercial disputes
• Litigation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution

The role offers genuine scope to take carriage of matters, work directly with clients and develop your own profile, while having experienced construction specialists around you when needed.
