Senior Construction Estimator – Commercial Fit-Out & Refurb

Zusammenfassung

NOW Energy is seeking an Estimator in Sydney to own tenders from first principles through submission on commercial projects up to $10M, including fit-out and refurbishment within live environments.

You will work with the National Estimating Manager to prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender packages, review subcontractor quotes, and support post-tender negotiations using Buildsoft Cubit, Cubit Select and EstimateOne.

Qualifikationen

• Experience directly for a commercial builder / principal contractor.
• Tendering commercial projects up to approx. $10M.
• Experience in commercial fit-out and refurbishment.
• Experience on live operational environments.
• Exposure to commercial new-build projects.
• Strong subcontractor and supplier knowledge.
• Experience preparing scopes, BOQs, take-offs and trade comparisons.
• Good understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and contractual requirements.
• Experience with Cubit, Cubit Select and EstimateOne is highly regarded.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Managing tenders from first principles through to final submission.
• Preparing BOQs, detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Completing detailed take-offs and reviewing project trades.
• Preparing subcontractor and supplier tender packages.
• Reviewing, analysing and comparing subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying scope gaps, design discrepancies, risks and opportunities.
• Calculating preliminaries and assisting with construction methodology and sequencing.
• Attending site inspections and assessing existing project conditions.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Participating in tender reviews and post-tender meetings.
• Maintaining tender documentation and estimating records.
