Job summary

Mandala Hospitality Group in Batemans Bay is seeking a dedicated Conference & Events Manager to lead the planning, execution and review of conferences and events across our properties. You will also provide guest services support as needed, ensuring memorable experiences for clients and attendees.

The role focuses on end-to-end event lifecycle from concept to post-event analysis, with opportunities to engage in sales activities and develop strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate events and weddings.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with C&E CRM systems (IVY preferred) and Protel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with Conference & Event clients; create proposals, contracts and rooming blocks.
• Coordinate run sheets, track payments and ensure timely distribution.
• Manage event registration, attendee communications and on-site support.
• Upsell catering, AV equipment and premium venue spaces to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, sponsors and partners for collaboration.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide reporting on funnel and KPIs.
