Job summary

Megaport seeks a senior Compute Networking professional to design, build and evolve data centre fabrics that underpin aglobal bare-metal and accelerated compute platform. You will work across leaf-spine networks, GPU and storage fabrics, and automation that keeps them scalable and operable.

Based in Australia, you’ll partner with internal teams and external partners to deliver fast, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong background in networking and telecommunications.
• Experience with BGP, EVPN-VXLAN and leaf-spine architecture.
• Experience with large scale DC networks.
• Experience with large scale MPLS networks.
• Ability to script automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, test and certify new network hardware, systems and software.
• Design and deploy resilient leaf-spine fabrics for GPU/AI compute infrastructure.
• Operate IP fabrics using BGP, EVPN-VXLAN and ECMP.
• Support GPU, storage, and management networking components.
• Develop network architecture standards and implementation plans.
• Maintain vendor relationships and drive automation and monitoring improvements.
• Provide technical summaries to executives and act as last escalation point.
