This unique opportunity offers genuine ownership of the day-to-day compliance function, reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and working closely with the Chief Risk Officer, with strong executive exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across risk and compliance within financial services, funds management, or private markets.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Business, or Accounting.
• Working knowledge of the Corporations Act, AFS licence obligations, and AML/CTF framework.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Commercially pragmatic with clear verbal and written communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute end-to-end compliance framework including licence conditions, breach assessments, regulatory reporting and internal registers.
• Administer AML/CTF programme, perform customer due diligence, manage regulatory documentation and annual reporting.
• Oversee external fund administrators on delegated compliance functions including onboarding and monitoring.
• Design and implement annual compliance monitoring and testing plan, track remediation.
• Act as first-point-of-contact for internal compliance queries and support risk reporting.
