Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or banking compliance
• Risk management or legal experience
• Strong understanding of compliance risk in the Australian regulatory environment
• Sound judgement and detail-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Providing compliance advice across asset management activities with a focus on public funds
• Assessing compliance incidents and supporting engagement with regulators
• Responding to investor due diligence requests relating to managed funds
• Managing regulatory enquiries and assessing the impact of regulatory developments
• Reviewing new product proposals and supporting implementation activity
• Monitoring and testing key controls and processes
• Drafting, updating and implementing compliance policies and procedures
• Preparing Compliance Committee and Board papers, and managing regulatory findings
