Job summary

CSC Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation in Sydney NSW is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join the Legal, Risk & Governance team. You will support CSC to operate within its risk appetite and meet regulatory obligations as trustee for Australian Government superannuation schemes, providing high-quality, business-focused compliance services to enable CSC's objectives.

The role requires collaboration across functions, incident management and reporting to ASIC/APRA/OAIC/AUSTRAC, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Law (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution.
• 4-7 years’ experience in compliance functions relevant to CSC.
• 2-3 years’ experience in incident management and breach reporting.
• Experience in resolving compliance issues and developing relevant work practices.
• Ability to proactively manage a varied workload, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to learn and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyse, escalate and investigate compliance incidents and provide remediation advice.
• Administer CSC’s compliance function and systems, including breach/incidents register.
• Report to ASIC, APRA, OAIC and AUSTRAC with breach reports and related documents.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Monitor compliance and assist with audits and thematic reviews.
• Oversee AML/CTF compliance including monitoring and reporting.
• Oversee Privacy Act compliance and privacy impact assessments.
• Provide compliance reviews for disclosures, communications, annual reports and Modern Slavery obligations.
• Internal and external reporting related to compliance functions.
• Maintain knowledge of industry/regulatory changes and apply to services.
• Team administration and workflow management; training across business areas.
