Job summary

Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation in Sydney, NSW, invites a curious Risk Analyst to join the Emerging Risk team. You will help strengthen how we identify and respond to operational and emerging risks, partnering with stakeholders across CSC to monitor risk and support governance processes.

You will analyse trends and incidents, maintain risk registers, and contribute to audits, reporting, and risk projects while supporting compliance and governance obligations.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizen with baseline clearance
• Experience in risk management, audit, compliance or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
• Interest in governance, operational risk, resilience or financial services
• Experience in financial services, risk frameworks, business continuity, incident management or governance systems will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor operational and emerging risks.
• Analyse trends, incidents and risk themes to provide insights.
• Maintain risk registers and support governance processes.
• Assist with audit and assurance activities, including remediation tracking.
• Prepare risk reporting for leaders and stakeholders.
• Contribute to control testing, scenario analysis and risk projects.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and governance obligations.
• Collaborate with teams across CSC to strengthen risk culture and resilience
