Job summary

Woolworths Group is seeking a Senior Competition and Consumer Lawyer on a 12-month parental leave contract to deliver strategic, risk-balanced advice across our retail ecosystem and lead regulatory engagements.

Reporting to the Group Counsel, you will mentor junior lawyers, interface with the ACCC and other bodies, and craft pragmatic strategies to navigate fast-paced regulatory matters while supporting the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws with 7+ years PQE in competition and regulatory law.
• Deep knowledge of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and ACL.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality competition and consumer law advice across the Woolworths Group ecosystem.
• Represent and advise on merger clearances, pricing, regulatory disputes, investigations and litigation.
• Liaise with ACCC and other regulators on current and future initiatives.
