Job summary

Amp Recruitment is seeking experienced Communications Technicians / Fibre Technicians for a long-term project in Murarrie, Australia. You will audit existing communications infrastructure, verify drawings, and maintain detailed documentation while working with a second technician in a two-person team.

Fibre testing expertise and strong attention to detail are essential. Cat 6/6A testing and familiarity with control panel auditing are highly regarded; Fluke CertiFiber Pro is a plus.

Job description

AMP Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Communications Technicians / Fibre Technicians for a long-term project based in Murarrie.

You’ll be working in a team of two, carrying out audits on existing communications and control infrastructure, with a strong focus on fibre testing, documentation and accuracy.

The Role

• Ability to work autonomously and accurately

Highly regarded:

• Experience using Fluke CertiFiber Pro
• Cat 6 / Cat 6A testing experience
• Control panel auditing or inspection experience
• Previous leading hand or senior technician experience
• Strong QA and as-built documentation experience

This role would suit an experienced communications technician who is confident with fibre testing and enjoys detailed QA, auditing and documentation work.
