Job summary

Core Talent is recruiting Telecommunications Technicians and Structured Cablers for permanent opportunities with a leading telecoms contractor delivering major data centre and critical infrastructure projects. Opportunity to work on technically advanced projects and build a long-term career in infrastructure.

We value hands-on data centre experience, fibre and copper cabling, and strong safety awareness. Roles involve installation, termination, testing, and project handover on large-scale data

Qualifications

• ACMA Open Cabling Registration – essential.
• White Card & Driver's Licence – essential.
• Structured, Fibre and/or Coax endorsements – highly regarded.
• Victorian Electrical Licence – desirable.
• Strong experience in telecommunications or structured cabling.
• Ability to read drawings, cable schedules and technical documentation.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable, professional and team-focused approach.

• Cat6A and high-density fibre systems
• MPO/MTP installations
• Data centre room builds and fit-outs
• Rack and stack
• Containment, cable pathways and cable management

Experience We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates with hands-on hyperscale data centre experience.

Experience across the following will be highly valued:

• Hyperscale data centre projects
• Data centre room builds and fit-outs
• Data hall installations
• High-density fibre and copper cabling
• Fibre termination, splicing and testing
• Rack and stack
• Large-scale critical infrastructure projects

Candidates from telecommunications, structured cabling, fibre, commercial electrical or critical infrastructure backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
