Job summary

Department of Customer Service in NSW is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join the Commercial team within NSW Telco Authority. You will lead complex procurement and contract management activities, coordinating with technology and telecom services across NSW.

The role covers end-to-end procurement, planning, development, sourcing and delivery, while applying independent commercial judgement and risk management in advisory capacity. A Baseline Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and contract management within a public-sector or regulated environment.
• Ability to provide advisory support with sound commercial judgement.

• Lead complex procurement and contract management activities that support critical technology and telecommunications services across NSW.
• Performing end-to-end procurement activities, partnering with stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements.

What you need

• Essential Security Clearance: You will be able to obtain and retain minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value procurements and contract management activities.
• Proven ability to exercise independent commercial judgement and manage risk in an advisory capacity.
