Senior Commercial Manager – WA Mining Accounts

Job summary

Jigsaw Talent Management partnered with a leading Perth-based supplier of engineered equipment to appoint a Commercial Manager. This newly created role leads the commercial function, interacts with board, and drives revenue growth across mine-site and corporate accounts.

You will own major WA mining relationships, manage pricing, tenders and contracts, and lead a small sales engineering team. Expect regular site visits, boardroom presentations and a path to a larger facility expansion planned

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing and growing major WA mining accounts.
• Background in technical or industrial equipment, mining OEMs or mining services.
• Experience owning revenue targets, major contracts, pricing and tenders.
• Confidence presenting and negotiating at executive level as well as visiting key sites.
• Experience leading a small team while staying hands on with key accounts.
• Established network across the WA mining sector.
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• A tertiary qualification in a commercial, supply chain or technical discipline would be well regarded.

Responsibilities

• Owning and growing relationships with tier one mining clients across multiple sites and corporate offices.
• Converting opportunities into revenue and driving long term account growth.
• Leading commercial negotiations, contract reviews, pricing strategy and tender responses.
• Developing the commercial plan, forecasts and revenue targets in line with the business plan.
• Visiting mine sites regularly to understand client operations and work with maintenance, reliability and project teams.
• Building new relationships with other major miners and EPCM project houses.
• Leading and developing the client facing sales engineering team, with plans to grow the team further from 2027.
• Taking part in board and strategy meetings, and supporting the business through its move to a larger facility in 2027.
