Job summary

Green Grid Connect in Brisbane seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial outcomes on major EPC energy projects, reporting to the Project Director and collaborating with Project Managers. You will manage head contracts, subcontracts and claims to protect margins across the Gawara Baya Wind Farm EBoP package and similar initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Manager/Lead or Senior Contracts on major infra, energy, or EPC projects.
• Strong contract administration knowledge in lump-sum, design/construct or EPC.
• Proven ability to manage claims, variations, EOTs, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent commercial acumen balancing risk and outcomes.
• Experience managing complex subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation with senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across the project lifecycle.
• Manage head contract and subcontracts for compliance and performance.
• Lead variations, claims, EOT submissions and notices.
• Mitigate commercial risk with project delivery teams.
• Support procurement strategies and supplier negotiations.
• Forecasts and reporting of project financials.
• Advise on commercial strategy to senior stakeholders.
• Resolve disputes and complex commercial issues.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
