Job summary

VIDA is seeking a Commercial Manager to provide high‑quality commercial advice across construction and infrastructure project delivery, tender documentation, contract models and risk allocation. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will support arrangements across VIDA Community Safety projects, ensuring governance and value-for-money outcomes.

This role requires strong judgement, collaboration with project, legal and procurement teams, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (or higher) in business, law, commerce or equivalent with 3+ years in a commercial environment.
• Experience providing commercial oversight across procurement, tender evaluation and contract terms.
• Ability to identify commercial and financial risks in public infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work with procurement, legal and project teams to support governance and value-for-money.
• Strong written communication to prepare clear advice and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality commercial advice across construction and infrastructure project delivery, tender documentation, contract models, risk allocation and value-for-money outcomes for VIDA Community Safety.
• Support commercial and contractual arrangements across a range of community safety projects; cover contracts, tender evaluations and negotiations.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities; prepare reports, recommendations and guidance materials for project delivery teams.
• Contribute to tools and templates to standardise commercial services for project teams.
