Job summary

WSP is seeking a Commercial Executive in Australia to provide senior commercial leadership across major bids, projects and client arrangements. You’ll shape pricing, manage risk, and support mobilisation with a focus on margin protection and entitlement recovery.

You will blend contractual knowledge with pragmatic business judgment, coaching project teams and guiding commercial governance across priority panels and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial, contract management or project delivery experience in engineering, consulting, infrastructure or complex projects.
• Proven leadership across major bids, projects or portfolios with post‑award focus.
• Deep experience in variations, claims, entitlement, and commercial recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive commercial leadership across a portfolio of projects and opportunities.
• Lead pricing, fee builds, assumptions, contingencies and negotiation strategy for bids and pursuits.
• Oversee mobilisation and handover, ensuring obligations, risks and subcontract requirements are understood.
• Translate project financials into clear risks, opportunities and actions for stakeholders.
• Coach project leaders to strengthen commercial capability across forecasting, risk and margin protection.
• Drive improvements in WSP’s commercial practices and guidance.
