Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery governance for cloud transformation engagements with enterprise customers across Australia. You will manage project delivery, coordinate stakeholders, and oversee commercial aspects to ensure customer outcomes.

You will work with AWS leaders, partners, and customer teams to align business goals with technical solutions, manage risks, and contribute to governance cadences across one or more delivery streams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale.
• 7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
