Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ ProServe ANZ team is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects for national security and defence contexts.

You will combine business and technical leadership, drive cloud migration and implementation, and ensure customer outcomes using AWS frameworks. You will manage risks, align stakeholders, and guide teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise cloud engagements.
• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.
• Strong project leadership and risk management.
• Must hold or attain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Coordinating technical decisions and strategic planning using AWS frameworks
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes
• Managing technical teams to distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Overseeing technical teams to decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience in delivering customer engagements in a professional services role
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
